Cable chains or drag chains are special chains designed to protect and guide flexible cable or hydraulic and pneumatic hoses connected to moving automated machines and equipment. They reduce wear and stress on cables and hoses, giving a good protection and improve operator safety.
Cable chains are used anywhere where there is a moving part to be connected to the static part of equipment such as: machine tools, cranes, car wash equipment, medical and laboratory equipment, automatic warehousing, forklifts, industrial robots, and offshore oil rigs.
Papageno Cable chain looks like tank chain, consisting of many unit rotating-freely links. Unit link consists of left and right link plate and top and bottom cover plate. Each drag can be easily opened and installed, no need threading, just put the electric cable,oil tube,air pipe,water pipe and others into drag chain after opening the cover plate.
Same series Papageno cable chain are same in inner height, but various in inner width and bending radius.
Due to the differences of top and bottom cover plate, cable chain can be divided into bridge type, enclosed type and half enclosed type. And cable chain can also be divided into one-side open type and two-side open type, according to the different structures.

1. Inner height and inner width (essential information).
2. Bending radius of the cable chain or working height.

Below are some suggestions for selection of cable chain:
1.Inner Height and width: Plus at least 10% to the space which the cables,wires or conduits take up.
2.Bending radius: Working height is decided by bending radius. The bending radius is bigger, the working height is higher.
3.Usually closed type for dust proof requirement, open type for crane,forklift and other long distance application.
